Privacy Policy

Who we are
VeilGuard Privacy Shield ("VeilGuard", "we") helps you find where your personal information is exposed online and asks data brokers to remove it. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: privacy@superveilguard.com.
What we collect
Account details: your email address and password (stored securely by our sign-in provider), or your Google account email if you sign in with Google.
Details you give us to scan for: your name, city and state, email addresses and phone numbers. We only use these to search for your exposed data and to fill in removal letters.
Scan results: breaches your emails appear in, data broker listings we find, your confirmations, and the status of each removal request.
Basic technical data: such as browser type and error logs, used to keep the service working and secure.
How we use it
To check public breach databases (Have I Been Pwned) for your email addresses.
To search the web and known people-search sites for listings that match you, and to use automated tools (including AI) to judge whether a listing is really you.
To prepare removal requests for you to send, and to rescan periodically so we can catch listings that come back.
To send you account emails and alerts (such as scan results or a listing reappearing). You can turn alerts off in My details.
What we never do
We do not sell your personal information, rent it, or share it for advertising. We do not use it to build marketing profiles.
Who we share it with
Data brokers — only the details needed to identify and remove your listing, and only when you send a removal request (requests are sent from your own email app).
Service providers who help us run VeilGuard: secure hosting and database, web search, breach lookups (your email is sent to Have I Been Pwned), AI processing for listing matching, and email delivery. They may use your data only to provide these services to us.
Authorities, if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active so we can keep monitoring for reappearances. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your details, scan results and requests within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep records.
Your rights
You can view and update your details in the app at any time. You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it by emailing privacy@superveilguard.com. Depending on where you live (for example California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights; we will not treat you differently for using them.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited by account, and only authorised administrators can view account information to provide support. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Limits of the service
VeilGuard checks indexed breach data, not the entire dark web, and cannot delete results directly from Google; it removes the source pages and points you to Google's own tools. Brokers decide how and when they act on requests.
Children
VeilGuard is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect children's information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you by email or in the app for significant changes.
